Application

Nexans H07Z1-K PROTECT Type 2 (AS) is designed for protected low-voltage fixed installations. It is suitable for the wiring of electrical panels, switchboards, control equipment, electrical apparatus and circuits installed in conduits or trunking.
Its Class 5 flexible copper conductor facilitates installation in applications requiring enhanced flexibility, such as compact switchboards, industrial and commercial cabinets, internal equipment wiring and colour-coded circuits.
The halogen-free, low-smoke insulation makes it particularly suitable for installations in buildings where fire safety requirements are critical, including public buildings, high-rise buildings, residential complexes, schools, healthcare facilities, commercial premises and protected industrial environments.

Installation

Nexans H07Z1-K PROTECT Type 2 (AS) is intended for protected indoor fixed installations in conduits, ducts, trunking systems, raceways, skirting-board trunking, mouldings or similar closed systems, either surface-mounted or concealed, in accordance with applicable installation practices and regulations. It may also be used for the internal wiring of electrical panels, switchboards, electrical apparatus and control equipment, provided compatibility with terminals and applicable wiring rules is ensured. It is not intended for direct outdoor installation, direct burial, immersion, or for mobile applications or installations subject to repeated flexing.

Recommended installation:

  • Minimum installation temperature: +5 °C
  • Minimum bending radius: 4 × D for fixed installation
  • Maximum pulling force: 50 N/mm² of copper cross-section
